Environmental educator, children's book author, sustainability blogger, and avid hike and trail leader, Ashley Storey is a creative naturalist who has made her way from the hood into the woods and is living to share the journey.

​

Born and raised in Compton, California, the twenty-seven year old nature expert is no one's stereotype, she's on a mission to make sure everyone realizes the beauty of the ground they stand on and that they enjoy and desire standing to protect it. TheEverSustainableStorey, as she's known via internet and social media, first got her start in eco-tourism by way of Navitat Canopy Adventures LLC. ; a multi-zipline and ropes course company previously based in Wrightwood, California. Since, she's been spotted all over from local zoos and museums to doing elephant research in Thailand. Storey is well versed in the greater majority of sciences and trained in emergency rescue as well as lawful combat and arrest.

With backgrounds spanning from her Bachelor's in Theatre Arts which earns her credits from one of Los Angeles' best spots for improvisation, The Comedy Store, to her Master's in Sustainable Environments and Planning from one of Australia's top private universities, she expounds on her comedic energy from improv, thrill from zipline, and concern for wildlife in her lessons, hikes, and sustainability efforts daily.  This compilation of crafts and expertise puts Ashley as one of Los Angeles' top naturalist, as acclaimed by day hikers and nature enthusiast globally.
